Zwicker Statement On Veterans Day
Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker offers the following statement in recognition of those who have served and are currently serving our country in the Armed Forces of the United States. New Jersey is home to more than 473,000 veterans:
“Veterans deserve our gratitude and respect for the sacrifices that they and their families make so that we may continue to enjoy our freedom,” said Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker. “I am deeply appreciative and grateful to all of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country."
“We must never forget about the lives of those we’ve lost while they were proudly serving to protect our country. We owe our veterans a debt that we can never fully repay. I am proud to work to end homelessness among veterans by co-authoring legislation that makes affordable housing for veterans more accessible. I am also working to ensure veterans have the skills and education they need by making higher education and job training more available."
“Thank you for your service and everything you have done for our community.”
